While most Japanese lacquerware is red or vermilion, Isuke has been experimenting with colors to produce lacquerware in a variety of fun colors. Each of these boxes comes in a two-tone colorway, with one shade for the outside of the box, and a second shade for the pattern, and the inside of the box.
These were designed by Isuke in collaboration with Kazushige Miyake, a renowned Japanese product designer who has worked with brands such as Blomus, Muji, Stelton, Pentel, Pioneer, Yamaha, and more. Celebrate Japanese tradition and modern design with these exceptional small boxes.
